Natural-language quick add

Free on every plan

Type “Dentist Thursday 9am #health !high every 6 months” and Tickbase reads the date, time, repeat, tag, list and priority out of it. Chips under the box show what it understood, and tapping one changes it.

Say “by Sunday” and it sets a deadline rather than planning the work for Sunday.

Add tasks by e-mail

Premium. Off until you turn it on

You get a private address of your own. Forward a booking confirmation, a message from a colleague or a newsletter to it, and the subject becomes the task and the body its notes, with attachments kept.

The subject understands the same shorthand as quick add, so “Fwd: Dentist Thursday 2pm #health” lands dated and tagged. Choose whether new tasks go to the Inbox or a list of your own.

Siri and Apple Intelligence

Free on every plan. iPhone and iPad

Add a task, tick one off, or ask what's on today, what's next or how long until a countdown, without opening the app. With Apple Intelligence on iOS 27 you can ask in your own words: “the passport one, tick it off”.

Two switches decide whether Siri may change your tasks and see them, and locked lists always stay out of it.

Add several tasks at once

Free on every plan

For the chapters of a book, the weeks of a course or anything else that comes in numbered parts: choose Add several tasks… in a list's menu, say what they're called and how many, and they're made in one go.

Turn on dates and pick a finish date, and they're spread evenly from the start date to the finish, weekdays only if you like, so you know which chapter is today's.

Rather keep the book as one task? Add several… beside a task's subtasks makes Chapter 1 to Chapter 25 inside it, and the task shows how many you've ticked off.

Due dates and deadlines

Free on every plan

A task can have two dates: the day you plan to do it, which you're free to move, and the deadline, which doesn't move when your plan does.

Tickbase shows the days left on a deadline, warns you when a task is planned after it, and puts deadlines coming up at the top of Today. It's on unless you switch it off.
